I'm So Glad to Meet You!

I'm Jessica Chappell. I go to Miami University as a nursing student and I play the flute with Miami's basketball and hockey band. I graduated from Preble Shawnee Jr./Sr. High School with a class of just under 100 people. I work at Miami University's Armstrong Student Center throughout the year. I have two pet rats and a pet fish and I love to play videogames in my free time, such as Magic: the Gathering Arena and Pokémon. I live in a small, rural community. My goal is to get my master's or doctorate's degree in nursing so that I can work in an emergency room as a nurse practitioner or possibly a higher medical staff position.

I made this blog because I look around me and see so many things that could be changed for the better. People are oppressed for being whom they want to be, natural resources are being used at a rate so fast that they cannot possibly be replenished in time for future generations to use them, and climate change is becoming a huge concern. I want to do what I can to change the way people look at the world and the situations they are faced with on a daily basis. Things need to change or our lives are going to take a dramatic turn for the worse. I hope that my words can change the world.
